Tim Messa - Public Relations Director We are very proud to have Procter & Gamble as a member of the Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility.  We couldn’t be happier knowing that one of the most socially responsible companies in the world will be working with us to help spread Corporate Social Responsibility throughout Poland.

Established in 1837, The Procter & Gamble Company began as a small, family operated soap and candle company in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Today, P&G markets almost 300 products to more than five billion consumers in 140 countries.  Procter & Gamble’s corporate tradition is rooted in the principles of personal integrity, respect for the individual and doing what’s right for the long-term. More than 98,000 P&G people work every day to provide products of superior quality and value to the world’s consumers.

Improving the lives of consumers worldwide is about more than just great products.  In Poland, P&G has partnered with the Polsat Foundation to provide important medical equipment for ill children. Money is raised through a P&G campaign known as Give Children the Sun, in which proceeds from six leading P&G brands are allocated to support the program. Give Children the Sun has generated over $4.5 million since 1999. These funds have created the Polish family liver transplant program, financed Poland’s first hospital for children with burns, and provided state-of-the-art equipment for spinal surgery for children – in addition to providing equipment for premature babies.

We are excited that P&G will soon be campaigning with us to help feed our Promise Kids. We will tell you more about this campaign as it developes.

Welcome P&G to the Responsibility Network.
