It is with great pleasure that we announce our newest member of the Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility, The Hilton Warsaw Hotel & Convention Center.  We are delighted to bestow our Foundation’s Gold Seal of Approval as a socially responsible company upon Warsaw’s newest 5-star Hotel.

As the Hilton Warsaw Hotel & Convention Center celebrates its “Grand Opening” tomorrow evening, it sets new standards for service and facilities in the capital of Poland, bringing a unique, fresh style of contemporary living to the downtown business district of Warsaw.

The hotel features 314 ultra modern, stylish guest rooms and suites featuring the latest in technology. The restaurant and bar choices are the grand Pistaccio Lobby Bar & Lounge specializing in quality coffees and an unmatched range of cognacs and malt whiskies, Meza Restaurant offering European and Polish cuisine with a modern flair, and the cool Axis Bar serving an awesome selection of vodkas.

The Convention Centre features the largest and most advanced event facilities in the heart of Warsaw, offering 3.000 sqm of flexible convention space, including the huge 1.406 sqm, pillar less Warsaw Hall, 12 multifunctional Hilton Meeting Rooms, 1 exclusive Hilton Boardroom and a supporting, high-tech Business Centre.  We are also delighted to announce for the first time that the Hilton’s Warsaw Hall will be the home of our Foundation’s Annual Dinner Dance for the next three years.

Other on-site facilities include the 3.800 sqm Health Club featuring a 200 sqm (2.153 sqft) pool with Jacuzzi, a Vegas-style Casino, a flower shop, jewelry shop, galleries and attended underground parking.

I am especially happy to be working with close friends like General Manager Bert Fol, and Operation’s Manager Uwe Kunz.  Uwe hosted me at the Sofia Hilton for almost three years during my time helping the Bulgarian Red Cross.  These guys are the best, and we welcome them and the Hilton Warsaw Hotel & Convention Center to Poland and to the Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility.
