Sheraton just doesn't talk about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), they live it. Their membership in our Foundation is just the latest in their numerous commitments to CSR in Poland. They have been very active in supporting under-privileged children and eco-friendly green initiatives for many years.
Since entering the Warsaw market, Sheraton has been part of the global project "Check Out for Children – Kids Belong" which supports UNICEF's work with orphaned and vulnerable children around the world. They are proud to announce that between the years of 1996-2008 the Sheraton Hotel was the leader in Central & Eastern Europe in collecting funds for UNICEF's work.
Sheraton has also been supporting UNICEF's "Road To Awareness" program. This program's goals are to help children living and working on the streets of Egypt. The hotel organized a special spinning bike section in the hotel lobby and has encouraged guests to join their bike ride to help raise funds.
The Sheraton Warsaw Hotel cooperates with the ORIMARI Foundation, which supports children in need. Sheraton is truly committed to protecting the environment, and have fully engaged the Green council operating in their hotel, which is responsible for introducing appropriate green initiatives.
