The company was founded by and is still managed by Peter Pulawski - a Dane, with Polish and Swedish background. He decided to create a company offering "GOOD WINES AT DECENT PRICES."  Grand Cru carefully selects top-quality wines with character, mainly via personal contacts with producers and suppliers from the most important wine-making regions of the world.

Grand Cru does its best to keep customers satisfied with the best wines available, and they guarantee the quality.  If you don’t like it, we will exchange or give a refund for your purchase. Grand Cru is Warsaw-based, with a nationwide reach. Their chain of wine-outlets consists of four shops in Warsaw, and three more Łomiank, Milanówek and Pruszków. 

Apart from retail and wholesale sales, Grand Cru is experienced in preparing wine gifts to meet individual requirements and wishes.  It is hard to attend a charity event in Poland without running into the good-hearted folks from Grand Cru.  Peter Pulawski stated, “We have received such a wonderful welcome in Poland that we think it is our social responsibility to give something back to some of Poland’s most needy people.  We are delighted to become a member of the Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility and to receive its Gold Seal of Approval as a Socially Responsible Company.”
